Essential Guide to Spider Mites

Essential Guide to Spider Mites

Spider mites, the tiny terrorists of the plant world, are always on the lookout for their next victim. But fear not, my green-thumbed friends! With these tips, you'll be able to give those pesky mites the boot and keep your plants looking beautiful, robust, and resilient.

How do I identify Spider Mites?

These little guys are sneaky, but you’ll see tiny spider-type bugs crawling over leaves. A white web on the undersides of leaves is another tell-tale sign that you have Spider Mites on your houseplants!

How do I fix Spider Mites?

Step 1: If you notice Spider Mites, don't panic! Grab a water hose or pop them in the shower. This works best on smaller infestations (it's also pretty satisfying)! Isolate the sick plant from the rest of your collection to stop the spread.

Step 2: Spray your plants with a high quality and organic leaf spray. This will keep the pests at bay. Many customers use multi-purpose Neem Oil sprays in their organic gardening, although it cannot be marketed as a pesticidal treatment in Australia.

Step 3: Use our Protect Spray to keep the leaves free of dust and debris. It’s a great way to keep your leaves lush and shiny. Don’t forget; we’re always on the end of our live chat, ready to give pest advice!

Spider Mites cam be tough, but we’re in it together!
